What armour do you wear during difficult conversations to avoid showing your vulnerability?

We all do this to varying degrees as a form of self-protection, whether you realise it or not.

I’ve learned to see the other person through the filter of compassion if ever I start to feel defensive or notice the focus moving towards ‘blame’ instead of ‘responsibility’.

When you can put down your armour, and get comfortable leaving it outside of the conversation, you get a different quality of interaction and relationship.
